December 24, 2018 at 07:52AM In parenting, there is always a fine balance between discipline and being in control and letting go. There is a time to sit and be quiet, and there is a time to run wild and free. Young children sometimes need the help to decipher when those times are. So our jobs as parents are to teach them how, though it may be easier to just say “sit down and be still”, “stopping running”. Instead we should allow them to grow up acquiring the skills to know the difference in situations. Sometimes I still find that a struggle, but I try. 😊 What about you? #throwback

But it is also this fact that makes us marvel in wonder about how God created them. Sometimes we overlook the smaller things in nature. But this little one loves finding them! Here she’s exclaiming because we finally found a ladybug!! 🐞 Simple but pure and innocent joy from a little one. So very precious. ♥️

December 01, 2018 at 02:50PM Our road trip was blessed with this beautiful rainbow the other day. Never seen the rainbow touch the ground before and so close to where we were! Wonder if we were to walk towards it, whether we’ll find a pot of gold! 😊

November 07, 2018 at 09:08AM It’s always important to allow a child to self-regulate his/her interests. Sometimes being bored is ok. We need not always be the ones to entertain them. October 14, 2018 at 02:11PM This little one continues to amaze me every day. Her curiosity and desire to explore and discover. Sometimes I find myself falling behind due to tiredness. But little moments like this just make my heart grow prouder of her. Just the other day, she was doodling on her board and told me she grew a cat! Lovely drawing indeed, Little T! 😊

September 15, 2018 at 03:41PM It’s amazing how fast our children grow. And for us as parents, we may not notice physically as much growth as others, for we see them everyday. But when they hit milestones, like going diaper-less for more than half a day or when the bus driver says that she has to pay busfare for she’s over 0.9m, then it hits me that my little one is no longer a tiny baby from 3 years ago. ♥️ 📸: @picspirationsphotography
