June 29, 2018 at 08:51AM “Two roads diverged in a yellow wood and I - I took the one less travelled and that made all the difference.” - Robert Frost . . . One of my favourite poems when I was studying literature in secondary school. The choices in life impact who we are. This poem always reminded me to take the scenic route, the one less travelled, the one that might be longer but oh, so fulfilling an adventure it would be. ♥️ . . #snapsfromatravellingmum #throwback

June 27, 2018 at 01:40PM “I have not always chosen the safest path. I've made my mistakes, plenty of them. I sometimes jump too soon and fail to appreciate the consequences. But I've learned something important along the way: I've learned to heed the call of my heart. I've learned that the safest path is not always the best path and I've learned that the voice of fear is not always to be trusted.” - Steve Goodier . . . #snapsfromatravellingmum #throwback

June 20, 2018 at 04:42PM “Adventure is a path. Real adventure – self-determined, self-motivated, often risky – forces you to have firsthand encounters with the world. The world the way it is, not the way you imagine it. Your body will collide with the earth and you will bear witness. In this way you will be compelled to grapple with the limitless kindness and bottomless cruelty of humankind – and perhaps realize that you yourself are capable of both. This will change you. Nothing will ever again be black-and-white.” — Mark Jenkins

June 11, 2018 at 02:13PM Day 7 (8 June 2018) Vigo - Redondela , Spain (18km) . . Sometimes our visions may blur and we feel that we may have lost of our direction in life. But have faith, for one day a window of opportunity will appear. We just need to notice it and seize it. God always has our back, take heart and have faith. And patience. ♥️ . . #buencamino

June 06, 2018 at 01:52PM Day 4 (5 June 2018) Caminha, Portugal - Oia, Spain (20km) . . Today was a stark contrast to yesterday. It rained the whole day. The paths were so long it never seemed to end. Few interesting sights along the way. No pilgrims in sight as we walked. Just us. Alone with the rain. Even the trees along the road where we walked were bare. It reminded me of how life is. After a while the novelty and excitement of a new phrase in our life wears off, and we feel like we’re just walking aimlessly along our life journey, without the end in sight. Sometimes we walk alone and we feel like wanting to give up cos we can’t take it anymore. But that’s when we just have to keep walking, trusting that God has a plan for us and pray that we have the perseverance and courage to continue walking, despite the conditions we face. #caminodesantiago #portugueseway

June 06, 2018 at 01:50PM Day 3 (4 June 2018) Vania do Castelo - Caminha . . Sometimes in life, you just have to show your battle scars and be proud about it. I wouldn’t have seen these battle wounds, if not for friends and family around me. And then after realizing it, we just laugh about it together. ♥️ . . #caminodesantiago

June 04, 2018 at 09:02PM Day 3 After many roadblocks, of delayed flights, missed flight connections and missing baggages, we’ve finally begun on our walk on the Camino to Santiago, a day later than planned (and two of us are still awaiting our backpacks). But through all of this, we’ve come to realise that God always provides just enough and he sends angels to help us along our way. Onwards to Santiago! Buen Camino! :) #caminosantiago
